Tips to Help You Build Your BMW


  • For the best BMW build and price, no matter which series or model you choose, be sure to visit your dealer for a test drive before using the BMWUSA Build tool. This way you won't have to configure a BMW blindly.
  • While you're there, check out all the tech, models and trim levels available. Your salesperson will gladly show you the ins and outs of any BMW for sale on the lot, from sporty BMW M4 Customs to new 328i cars to BMW X6 models.
  • Check out all the available seat materials and trimmings, as well. Are you a fan of perforated red Sensatec seats and open-pore wood oak accents, or do you prefer the clean lines of aluminum mesh and Black Vernasca leather? You'll only know if you can feel each.
  • Don't forget to ask about paint colors, too, as you may have more than 120 different colors from which to choose. This includes flashy options, like Dakar Yellow or Sapphire Blue, and more standard colors, like Nardo Grey and Alpine White.
  • Once you're ready, speak these three simple words to your BMW Genius product expert: "Build my BMW." They will walk you through the BMW design process, even if you choose to go home and use the BMW builder tool online.
